    [Forum] Confused - I bet it's a simple fix!

    Hi all,

I'd be eternally grateful if someone could take a look at this for me please and explain how I can fix it

I've upgraded to 4.2.0 Patch Level 2 and get the messages that are confusing the pants off me!

It's been going on for a while now, and I can't crack it.

    Please could someone help?

    Thanks,
    Chris

You seem to be missing one of the vbulletin files. I think you should the vb4.2.0PL2 files again.

I've tried installing it twice now, from seperate downloads

Any idea where I can look to do a manual check, please?

This is the message I am getting if it means anything to anyone:

You have tried download the vB package from the Members' Area and uploading it again already?

If global.php actually does exist in E:\HostingSpaces\wegnerwe\barndocstaff.co.uk\wwwroot, then your sever isn't configured properly and is looking for the files in a different location. I don't know the specifics, but I have seen it before.

Thanks Matthew, let me get in touch with my server provider and see if they can help.
