    [CMS] Help needed upgrading!

I am following this post to create a test site.... https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/show...-your-live-one

As described in step two, when I am going to change the path to save cookies I have a trailing slash (/) as the path... now to what should I change it?

    #------------
    # STEP TWO:
    #------------

In your vB Admin Control Panel (ACP)

vBulletin Options > Cookies and HTTP Header Options > Path to Save Cookies

Make a note of the existing setting (for example mine is set to: /myforums/ )

    Then change the setting to:

    /

    > click on SAVE

You should be fine just keeping it at '/.'

No problem. If it doesn't work, you can change the setting in the ACP after it's done.

Can't tell you what you're doing wrong. But try using this instead: www.mysqldumper.net

Also, if for some reason you're on godaddy, consider a new webhost.

You need to make sure that you are uploading it properly to the right place.

backing up is not something we actually provide support for. Contact your webhost for more help.
