Already set the default timezone for guests to GMT+7

php.ini default timezone is GMT+7

However the default timezone for New Registered Users is always GMT.
How to set this to GMT+7?

I understand that registered users can set the timezone via the user admin panel.

Is it possible to set the default timezone for newly registered users to GMT+7. So, if the new user makes no timezone changes, his time will be GMT+7

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

*edit* They should default to your forum's timezone.. if they aren't, try disabling hooks and registering a test user.

Time zone offset for guests and new users. Do not take DST into consideration, rather use the next option to enable/disable DST.

Be sure that Enable Daylight Savings is set right, too. Currently, it would be yes because we're in DST.

Umm.. You aren't in GMT+7.

GMT+7 does not observe daylight savings.

It should definitely use the default time zone offset for guests as the default on registration as well. The only reason it shouldn't is if you have a plugin or template modifications that broke it. I'd need to see your forums myself to be able to diagnose this further.

You should start your own thread, this thread is two years old and relates to a completely different problem. However if php.ini does not honour changes, you need to speak to your host.
