[Forum] Can't post pdf attachments

I am obviously the Administrator on my forum. I can attach all types of image files, doc files and even small less than 100 kb pdf's, but I can't get a 5.25 MB pdf to upload. I have set my user group default to not limit my attachment size, edited the specific forum permission for file size, and the attachment manager permission file size and still can't get that large a file to upload... HELP

You may need to change the PHP settings for upload_max_filesize and post_max_size. Add these to the .htaccess file in your vBulletin directory. If there isn't an .htaccess file there, you'll need to create one.

php_value upload_max_filesize 20M
php_value post_max_size 20M

If that doesn't work, we're going to need to see what errors you get. If there is a red exclamation mark icon when you try to upload it, mouse over it to see the real error message. You can also try uploading it to the Upload diagnostic (Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics) and see what happens.

Your php.ini file need to be adjusted. Are you on a shared server? If so you will need to email your web hosting provider and ask them to adjust the following. This is how I have mine set.

max_execution_time = 30
max_input_time = 60
memory_limit = 1000M

post_max_size = 20M
