  • [Forum] Is there a way to revert the settings to default?

When I first installed the board I turn a lot of stuff off. Is there a way to restore the settings to default? My templates etc are okay, this is just for the admincp > settings > options

    Thanks,

The only way I know t do this is to install a test forum and compare the new install to your live forum.

      Or this suggestion:-

      1. Open your ZIP installation file you downloaded in members.vbulletin.com and locate the upload/install/vbulletin-settings.xml file and unzip to your computer
      2. On your vBulletin admin panel -- Settings > Options > "Backup/Restore Settings" (on the left) > Restore Settings XML File > Ignore Blacklisted settings: No > Select the saved vbulletin-settings.xml from your computer > Restore

A computer without Microsoft Windows is like a chocolate cake without mustard.

you can do it via tools.php, just upload that file from the do_not_upload folder, remember to delete it when done
