  • [Forum] Google Have Blacklisted My Website

My site was hacked on the weekend (again), and Google have blacklisted the site as having malware and being potentially harmful. I had my web developer remove the injected files on Monday, but Google have still got it marked as harmful. A small number of people have kept posting, but most have stayed away, and its been extremely slow all week. Really frustrating! This is killing my website.

How do I get them to lift this?

If you are the owner of this website, you can request a review of your site using Google
    Webmaster Tools
. More information about the review process is available in Google's
    Webmaster Help Centre
    good luck

If you can afford a web developer why can't you afford a decent host?

He didn't actually say he pays for a web developer. You just assumed he does. Anyway if you want to try and help that's great, just don't be an ass about it.

@Steve038 - I visited your website using FireFox and got the Attack Site come up. I chose to ignore the warning, then another notification came up which i chose to ignore and then it took me to this page:

If you look at that page you will see "Help! My site is listed as an attack site!" Click on that and there's a link there to request a review. Do that when you know your site is clean again.

I hope that helps you somewhat.
