  • [Answered] I Help In Removing The ''Threads / Posts Last Post'' Section

    Hello Everyone,

    I need help removing the ''Threads / Posts Last Post'' section only on certain forums. Is there a way to do this? Also, one of the green checks for the ''subscribe to this forum'' don't show on my site. It the very first forum. Could anyone please tell me why the green check doesn't show.

    Add this to the additional.css template:
    Code:
    span.forumthreadpost, span.forumlastpost {
    display:none !important;
    }

      Thank you TheLastSuperman. Is there a way to make it so that I could choose which forums show the ''Threads / Posts Last Post'' and which ones don't? I would like to only remove it on one forum and the subforums within that one forum.

        Well I could walk you through editing the template for this and the whole spill about template conditionals or we can just skip all that and make this new plugin

        Product: vBulletin
        Hook Location: parse_templates
        Title: Hide CSS Elements based on forumid
        Execution Order: 5
        Plugin Code:
        PHP Code:
        if ($GLOBALS[forumid] == '2') {
        $hidecolumnheaders '<style type="text/css">
        .threadlisthead.table {
        display:none !important;
        }
        .threadlist {
        border-top: 1px solid #c4c4c4;
        }
        </style>'
        ;

        $template_hook[headinclude_bottom_css] .= $hidecolumnheaders;

        That will actually hide the entire header portion however we must also add a top border to threadlist otherwise it looks silly without one.

          Hello TheLastSuperman,

          Thank you. I will use your plugin. This looks like a great plugin. I was hoping to remove the actual section as well.

            I had one mistake, I accidentally left out a closing } in the css code as shown:

            Code:
            .threadlist {
            border-top: 1px solid #c4c4c4;
            }
            So the full example would be:

            PHP Code:
            if ($GLOBALS[forumid] == '2') {
            $hidecolumnheaders '<style type="text/css">
            .threadlisthead.table {
            display:none !important;
            }
            .threadlist {
            border-top: 1px solid #c4c4c4;
            }
            </style>'
            ;

            $template_hook[headinclude_bottom_css] .= $hidecolumnheaders;
