  • [Answered] Can't post after 4.2

I was on 4.1.9 and upgraded to 4.2. At least I thought I did. I uploaded the 4.2 files again and same issue. The first time I uploaded the files and was on 4.1.9 and ran the upgrade script or followed the updrade maual instructions. I am tired of trying to figure this one out, My forum is small,. Perhaps I should restore starting from Friday. Any suggestions?

You have not run the /install/upgrade.php script yet. You can see that in the database - it is still a 4.1.9 database.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Do I need to do the incremental updates?

If it says 4.1.9 in the upper right corner of the upgrade.php script, then you have no uploaded the 4.2.0 /install directory. (And maybe even missed other directories, too.)

I will double check, but I and 99.9% sure I did.

          Also get this warning:
ue to the following errors, the install/upgrade can not continue:
          • Following is a list of files that are either missing or contain unexpected contents. The most likely cause is that all of the files from this release have not been properly uploaded. You should resolve this error before continuing.

Give me a few, hopefully I got this - to be continued...

My error. Look like I uploaded a patch and not the upgrade. Sorry and Thx
