That php warning shouldn't be there and is quite possibly the cause of the issue.

Would you mind logging this in the tracker so that the devs can investigate?

Leave blank any fields you don't understand, we only really need summary and description as a minimum.
Please post back with the bug ID (starts with VBIV) once logged.

Tried to add HTML formating to article manually to format the image. That seems to be a workaround for now, but would like to see a working solution.

Issue is still present at: https://www.kalandmester.com/content...3%A1ci%C3%B3ja

Yes. The link to the site is (and was) www.kalandmester.com

    Issue present in article: https://www.kalandmester.com/content...i-mesterlovesz

How should I tell you the username? Do you need an admin account you can use for testing? Would you need cPanel (and FTP) access as well?

    CMS Image formatting issues

    Hi,

    At site: www.kalandmester.com
    vBulletin version: 4.2.3 Beta 1
    PHP version 5.4.28
    MySQL version 5.5.37-cll
With both default and custom styles
Both with addons enabled and with addons disabled (disabled plugin system at adminCP)
Error message on the screen (Not sure if it is relevant or not)

PHP Warning: Creating default object from empty value in ..../packages/vbcms/content/article.php on line 1250

Browsers affected: Checked with Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera (automativally updated): Consistent results
    Internet Explorer 11: Different result

    Step by step instructions:

    1. Create / edit an article.
    2. Attach an image attachment inline
    3. Edit its settings (double click, use the popup) and save those settings, align it to left, set size to medium
    4. Hit apply to save the article -> you see the error message
    5. View the article -> As you see the size and the alignment of the image seems to be different from selected
    6. Try to edit the article in Chrome / Opera / Firefox
    7. Try to set up the alignment and size of the image again -> You don't get the popup
    8. Try to attach the image again (replace)
    9. Try to set up the alignment and size of the image again -> You will see the popup with the previous setting (title, description, alignment, etc) already selected
    10. Save everything again, and check if it fixed -> No it isn't.
11, Try to edit the article under Internet Explorer -> It won't be visible in WYSIWYG editor
    12. Try to check if old image formating from older articles are lost -> No they aren't. But I didn't modify / save them.
