[CMS] 4.2 CMS home page not working

Not sure how to phrase this but:
Upgraded to 4.2,
setup default is activity stream,
I want default as cms.
But cant seem to get links working.
Can someone please post new setup for;
Site Name / URL / Contact Details
also;
Forum URL - before I had the home page as the cms - so I expect they dont mean literally the forum, just the vb install location.
Homepage URL - I had his set to root but it the website name does not work/gives page error.

Content Management
Site Tab URL - what should this be? surely it should be root?

I find this upgrade very confusing.
There is no walkthrough for moving to new system, if there is please advise.

Also the Articles link goes to /activity.php not cms

Also - content.php no longer goes to home page

Make sure that under "Articles" the following Target URL is set "content.php{session.sessionurl_q}"

And make sure you set it "as default" under the dropdown menu of the Articles Navigation Manager menu.

Thanks, that was the setting, when I click on 'Articles' it goes to websitename.com/content.php with message 'The page isn't redirecting properly',
as iun it cant find 'home' page.

That's a familiar issue which I also had.. Please open up your index.php file, what do you see under the following text?

chdir('./' . VB_RELATIVE_PATH);

For me, it says:

require('forum.php');

Just to try it out.. try changing:

require('forum.php');

to

require('content.php');

Save the file and load up the site again.

great many thanks, but takes me to an article not cms home so maybe I changed a setting somewhere, will look for it.
