  • [Forum] banner not centred

    We have our own forum banner, however for some members, it is showing to the left hand side, but to other members it is centred.

    Is there a way to show this as centred on all screen resolutions.

    Have attached a screenshot of what it looks like to me, I have a wide screen monitor

        add this to addtional.css:

        #header .logo-image {
        float: none;
        text-align: center;
        display: block;
        padding-top: 25px;
        }

        #header .logo-image>img {
        width: auto;
        }

            Yes, that won't effect the size of the banner.

              Tried that and the banner goes the whole width of the forum, I just want it to sit in the centre like this

                It's because you added width:100%; to your banner with inline styling. You're going to need to edit your header template and remove that styling:
                Code:
                <img src="images/styles/pinklady/misc/springbanner1.png" alt="universalfriends - Powered by vBulletin" style="text-align:center;
                padding-top: 20px; width:100%;" />

                  <vb:if condition="$stylevar['titleimage']"><div><a name="top" href="{vb:link forumhome}" class="logo-image"><img src="{vb:stylevar titleimage}" alt="{vb:rawphrase x_powered_by_vbulletin, {vb:raw vboptions.bbtitle}}" style="text-align:center;

                    You have this for the banner (from your page source):

                    Code:
                    <img src="images/styles/pinklady/misc/springbanner1.png" alt="universalfriends - Powered by vBulletin" style="text-align:center;padding-top: 20px; width:100%;" />
                    You need to remove the width.

                    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

                        That's fine, but the style stuff in the banner is not default - you have manually added that somehow and you need to remove the width.

                          someone else added it for me.

                          Where do I find

                          <img src="images/styles/pinklady/misc/springbanner1.png" alt="universalfriends - Powered by vBulletin" style="text-align:center;padding-top: 20px; width:100%;" />

                          is it this part?

                          <div id="header" class="floatcontainer doc_header">
                          <vb:if condition="$stylevar['titleimage']"><div><a name="top" href="{vb:link forumhome}" class="logo-image"><img src="{vb:stylevar titleimage}" alt="{vb:rawphrase x_powered_by_vbulletin, {vb:raw vboptions.bbtitle}}" style="text-align:center;

                            Yes, it is right there in the code you posted in the bottom line.

                              Thanks for your patience, removed the width, but banner is still the same
                              this is what the template says

                              <vb:if condition="$stylevar['titleimage']"><div><a name="top" href="{vb:link forumhome}" class="logo-image"><img src="{vb:stylevar titleimage}" alt="{vb:rawphrase x_powered_by_vbulletin, {vb:raw vboptions.bbtitle}}" style="text-align:center;
                              padding-top: 20px;" /></a></div></vb:if>
