    Not quite but close. The blank pages was fixed with the friendly URLs thing. The being unable to delete threads is another. Would it be better (less chance of things going tits up) if I had a MySQLi as opposed to plain MySQL?

    The exact error "You did not select any valid threads". I know people will tell me to delete threads from the AdminCP but I would expect vBulletin to work as its meant to.

      The "valid threads" are stored as a cookie on your computer. Does it work from a different computer?
