  • [Forum] Upload failed

After migrating my server to another vps when I try to upload post icons or profile pictures it keeps telling me upload failed for no reason!

Safe mod is off and open_basedir is also off.

Not sure what else I need to do...
    Could use some help.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Have you checked your error_logs (if you don't know where they are, ask your host)? Did you make sure the directories (for post icons and for profile images) are chmod to 777?

Verify the proper permissions on the folders, if the move wasnt done properly, to keep the same folder owneship & perms when the backup was created, then moved, they may have changed.

I had to change few folder permissions, looks like all folders did not carry over the permission it was set on the old server.

As your server is running WHM, if the site was transfered via WHM to WHM, they should of been done correctly.

I would guess if it wasnt done via WHM then the switch during the tar could of been missed to keep perms/ownership.

Of found the root cause of the issue.
The folder was showing my /tmp/vbtmp instead of /tmp
                Fixing that fixed everything!
