  • Ad In First Post Changing Post Content Area

There has been no resolution to this bug
I cant use the ad in first post as it changes all following posts under it

When you do a quick edit the ad still displays overlapping edit area?

Another bug for vb 4 whats the fix for this
    Crime case files

What do you mean changes all the posts after it? Are you loading special CSS with your advertising? If so, it would override any CSS that came before and would definitely change posts after it.

You've left out a closing tag presumably.

No No I am using the built in advertising in first post No tags No extra coding
if you ad a ad to first post it will create a blank space in all posts below it,
Just having a quick look around the forum there are multiple examples.

It has been submitted as a bug

I was given a crude fix for it bu Lynne, but in the end I could not use any advertising function that comes with the vb package! (thanks Lynne)

Bellow is a random post about this big problem

this is the blank space that is created directly under the position of the ad that is in first post and this is what all posts bellow 1st post look like

I have tried it as default style and get same error
        Crime case files

What was the fix that line gave you?

Was it to change this line:
          HTML Code:
          <div class="content<vb:if condition="$show['first_ad'] OR $show['last_ad']"> hasad</vb:if>">
          To this:
          HTML Code:
          <div class="content<vb:if condition="$post['isfirstshown'] OR $post['islastshown']"> hasad</vb:if>">
