After upgrading from 4.1.8 I am having trouble sending emails via SMTP using the same settings that I used pre-update.
Email Diagnostics tells me: Warning: 554 Unexpected response from SMTP server when ending transmission in ...../includes/class_mail.php on line 708
This is a pretty vague error. Does anybody know how I can see this "unexpected response"?
I'm using Amazon SES, so I don't have access to the SMTP server logs. They need to know the response from the server to help me.
