  • Password entry in clear text

I've been doing some work on the styling of my site and I've just been alerted to a problem that I assume is related, due to timing, although I'm not entirely sure how.

When users login on Chrome, the password is not obscured - it remains on screen in clear text. Similarly, when entering username and password the grey text 'User name' and 'Password' remains in the text entry fields when clicked and has to be manually deleted.

This doesn't happen in Safari, which I use on a Mac, where behaviour remains as it should - the pre-filled text automatically disappears and the password is obscured when entered.

I've tried inspecting the password element in both browsers and I think both are the same, which leaves me slightly stumped.

    URL: www.northstandchat.com if it helps.

    Thanks!

Looks like it was being caused by Cloudflare - I'd also tweaked some settings to try and improve site performance yesterday. Sorry!
