  • [Forum] Location field is not being populated to my registration page from USer's Facebook

I had a setting in the Vb admin panel for populating location from facebook to the Location/City field on my website registration form.

Instead of pulling location from facebook, i am seeeing text A,A in the location field of my regitration form

Can you please tell me how to resolve this issue. I am using 4.1.8

    My website URL: www.MSinUS.com

    Thanks,
    Ajay Cherukuri

I get the same issue, A,A on 4.1.10. I'm not sure it is facebook related.

Seems like a number of people here on vBulletin.com have "A, A" as their location too...

Why don't try using Facebook PHP SDK independently & see what the location field is providing. This may help you identify if it is related to vBulletin code or your Facebook settings. Facebook keep changing the app setting too frequently.

Was there any resolution for this? Having the same issue on 4.1.12 PL2.

It's best to start your own thread with full details. Resolutions for one person's issue might not work for your issue anyway, even if the issues appear the same.
