I've completed every fix listed in this thread as well as those in the Tracker linked here as well. I still have a large amount of horizontal scrollbar using the Cactus or the Default theme.

Feel free to check in Jira as often as you like.
You can even set up a filter with daily e-mail notification.

Thanks anyway, at least now I know not to expect a heads-up for such trivial matters.

You can try subscribing to this thread: https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/show...Release-4-1-10

I try to (but no promises) list such issues in there after every version release.

Well I stand corrected! - vBulletin knowing that customers' forums may be completely messed up and users unable to use the search facility, is considered a 'minor bug', and not worthy of an email to advise of the potential issue.

Be sure to let me know if you find any major bugs... thanks!

Doesn't imply a customer is wrong or anything of the sort. It is a bug which applies if you change a style variable. The bug was reported and a fix posted in the tracking system. It will be in the next release of the software. If you need the fix now, the code is provided in the link above. We're not going to email all of our customers for what is considered a minor bug with a published workaround. Especially since most do not change that stylevar and do not experience the problem. If they do, then we will point them to the fix and they can decide whether to wait or apply it.

Your anger and hostility is misplaced and really doesn't help anyone.

You may have done something incorrectly that prevented you from receiving an email when it was updated.

(Because that is the way to keep appraised of specific bugs. They are not sent out in mass email blasts on an individual level.)
I didn't subscribe to it, I performed a search before posting my findings, in order to ascertain whether or not other people had experienced the same problem, and I came across this thread as a result of that search.

e2a: ... how would this be at "an individual level"? This is a vbulletin error that potentially affects every vbulletin user, no?

Thanks, vBulletin, I'm so glad I spent my hard earned money on 2 vBulletin licenses instead of opting for free bulletin board software... because your customer support is really worth the money!

Why dont VB send out a pm to the PAYING customers of these issues?
Seriously would have saved me a few days of work and wasted time.

I posted this on the 12th smart ass so the search function does not work in the future.

Because there are so many open issues, and more filed daily, it would be a massive amount of unwanted spam PMs.

(This issue was answered/fixed by CvP on the 15th of January. If PAYING customers bothered to search PROPERLY, they would save themselves many days of work and wasted time.)
