I am running version 4.1.9 and I would like to change the name of the .htaccess file to .htaccess1
Is there a way that I can do this so the vbullletin script will seek this file to make the script function?
The reason I am doing this is because I have a wordpress script installed in the root domain, and a vbulletin script installed in a subfolder.
I want to move the vbulletin into the root, and the WP into a subfolder. I want to use .htaccess in the root to do a 301 redirect to the relocated WP folder so I do not lose my links, and have the VB script in the root running off of the .htaccess1 file installed in the root.
I am not using the CMS function in VB.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
