• [CMS] Specific styles for specific articles

I'm porting my static site to vBs's CMS.

One of the problems is that some pages need a lot of styling, for which I would use extensive CSS in the HEAD section of the HTML.

This is now a problem, because now, in the CMS articles (or static pages, for that matter), I do not have accesss to the html head, and xhtml will not validate if i move the css definitions into the body or the article. Styles are used many times throughout the article, so inline css is not an option.

One could use the CMS css template, but it does not make much sense to load styles that only needed for a single page and may conflict with requirements in other pages.

I tried a conditional (<vb:if condition="$nodeid ==XX">) on the CMS template that carries the head, but it does not work there.

    ¿Solutions?

    You could try using $_GET['r']

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

    W3Schools <- awesome site for html/css help

You mean modifying vB PHP files so that the nodeid is retrieved?

widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
