[Forum] Forum tabs and home page

Im new to Vb how do you get the side tabs in the forum and how do you get a home page tab? i use the forum package

For the forum blocks (I think that is what you mean about the side links):
vboptions > forum sidebar > set those to what you want
forums & moderators > forum blocks > add the blocks you want

The Home tab is a link to the CMS which only comes with the Suite.

Yes, you may install your own blocks. Just check out those areas I pointed you to.
