[Forum] Skimlinks Deactivated yet still working

I have not only deactivated but also went ahead and unchecked all the boxes.
There should be NO reason it is working yet it continues to show links.

What do you mean show links? Skimlinks uses javascript to redirect on user click, the link itself never changes.

I don't care what it shows, I don't want it to show which is why I turned it OFF.
Yet it still shows text as 'links'
Random word on the front page like Gadget shows up as a blue text link

Are you using a cache like APC, I have to restart php every time I even make a template edit before it'll show.

Well the Skimlinks WAS turned off when I went into Admin Panel
The only thing I did was uncheck it for everyone's permissions once I saw it was showing up.
If I see it again I'll try clearing cache.
