No.... It will make sure you don't get exploited again. To fix the issue, you need to go through the steps that I posted above.

We've had customers affected by this redirect without ever installing vBSEO on their forums. vBSEO is just one vector. The post I linked, makes sure you close all potential vectors and actually clean up the problem.

That is usually caused by a vbseo exploit but not always, as it is no longer supported you are probably better getting rid anyway.

    More info about it here.

Just removing is not a solution. do you know an alternative to vbSEO? Which means not to lose the speaking urls and structure which is built over years now.

Actually, it is the exact steps you need to resolve your issue.

It is a common vbseo exploit even when supported and patched, even more so now that it is unsupported. I would remove it.

The security link is helpful in general but not with that issue...

Yes, I'm using vbSEO 3.6 with vbulletin 4.2.2.

I tried the solution in the attached link, which means to switch the YUI from Yahoo to Google, but nothing changes.

How to fix myfilestore.com redirect malware?

Hi, I was just wondering why my traffic stats decreased since a few days and while checking the search results I noticed that there is a redirect to myfilestore.com when clicking on one of my domain results. It looks like only vbulletin is infected with that because other blogs on the same server working fine and it also looks like that this is since my update to 4.2.2. a few days ago. Can somebody help me fixing this? I don't have a idea how to find the redirect...

    Thx zerious
