  • Getting 500 error while uninstalling plugins

    I am trying to uninstall 3rd party Plugins from plugin manager but i am getting 500 internal server error to do so. Where as my CPU resource usage is normal.

    IS there any other way?

    I want to uninstalling below plugins:
    DragonByte Tech: Auto Discussion Thread Creator
    iTrader

    Have a look at your servers error logs to see what is causing the error, or ask your host.

      ## Solved ##

      It looks like the site did not want to work properly using PHP 5.2. I have set the site up to use PHP 5.4 and was able to remove/uninstall plugins

      This was done by adding the following entries to the .htaccess file:
      # Use PHP 5.4
      AddType application/x-httpd-php54 .php
      <IfModule mod_suphp.c>
      suPHP_ConfigPath /opt/php54/lib
      <Files php.ini>
      order allow,deny
      deny from all
      </Files>
      </IfModule>
