  • [Forum] Pruning Threads by a user

I want to Prune all the threads started by a user in one go.
So, Admin CP> Threads & Posts > Prune is the only option?
Does it physically delete the posts from the database?

    Thanks

Yes. That is the way to do it.

Just one note - be sure not to delete a user before you prune the associated threads. I've often seen a user get deleted first and that makes it tough to prune the threads.

      Thanks Troy,
But, when I mass prune a user's threads, it's still showing up on forum home under last post column. When I click on that, I get an error message.

      What to do?

Go to Maintenance > Update Counters > Rebuild Forum Information

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.
