Site down after chgrp of public html folder.

I had different groupes of folders in the public html folder since i used root user as well as site user to update files. i wanted to consolidate and chgrp of of everything inside the public folder to the site user .

Then I got this error when going to home page: Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I cant Undo this because I dont remember what folder had what group and reverting all folders to root user also does not help.

Any ideas?

Its fixed..

For some reason the Permissions of the public html folder changed to 750 when i updated the group. After changing it to 755, it worked again.
