  • [Forum] Query to update usergroup?

    Hello,

I recently upgraded from 3.5.4 to 3.8.7 patch 2 and then to 4.1.8 and everything is running smooth. However, I have 35k accounts under "Users Awaiting Validation" that span over the past few years. I want to remove all of these accounts through phpmyadmin by running a query, but I'm not sure what the query statement should be and how exactly to run it? Can anybody help me out?

    Appreciate it guys!

I would not remove them via phpMyAdmin as there are several tables that need to have the userids removed. You should remove them in groups in the admincp.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

admincp > users > prune/move users > select the usergroup and change the options (like has not logged on for x days) to get them in groups to prune
