Make sure that you have got the right name for your database as well as the host.

I just randomly did a view source and saw this:

Sooooo...am I just out of luck here? I am seriously at a loss. Every other website I host on the server is up and working just fine so I can't imagine there is a server issue. Especially since I can connect to the database from the command line giving the username and password from the config.php file.

This makes absolutely no sense. I can connect from the command line on localhost with the credentials in the config file, why in the world would this be throwing an error?

Getting this in the email message:

mysql_connect(): Access denied for user 'ohiochatter'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
But I can connect using the same credentials.

  • Site just stopped working all of a sudden, getting a database error...

Not sure what the heck happened but all of a sudden the vbulletin part of my site just stopped working and I get a database error message. Database is working, I can connect to it through sequel pro. Nothing on the site changed. Any ideas? This is really, really frustrating.
