    I've upgraded to the VB suite along with all the mobile suite as well. I'm having a total nightmare getting to grips with vb 4 as I used CMPS before. To start off I would like to do is have a widget with custom links on the side of my MS page. I've looked everywhere and can't find a solution. Could any of you kind people out there point me in the right direction?

    Also, is there a quick way of banning users? I had a dropdown menu before for quick banning but now it's not available (I presume this was an addon from years ago)

    For the widget: Create a Static HTML Widget and place your custom code in it. Then place it in the layout where you want it.

    vBulletin CMS -> Widget Manager

    Add New Widget. Select Static HTML and give it a name.

    Click Configure for the Widget to add your code. Save

    vBulletin CMS -> Layout Manager.

    Edit your Layout of choice. Add the Widget you just made. Drag it to where you want it and Save the Layout.

    For the ban option: this would have been an addon.

      Many thanks.

      I've now managed to get my custom links going but is there any way to have the white background to the widget bax so that it looks like the other widgets with radius corners etc? Mine is all the same colour as the border and is the same colour throughout.

        It should inherit a border and background like the default widgets automatically. Can you post a copy of the configuration screen?

            Is your template vbcms_widget_static_page edited in anyway? Try reverting it.

              I've reverted it but it's still the same.

                Can you provide a link to your site?

                    You are using vB4.1.5 which has a bug in that template. See this - http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBIV-10843
