After upgrading from 4.2.0 to 4.2.1, the CMS URL is no longer the root URL

I have configured the root url http://www.example.com/ to display the CMS main page.
But after upgrading to 4.2.1, http://www.example.com/ keeps redirecting to http://www.example.com/content/

How do I re-configure it back to http://www.example.com/ ?

In Site Name / URL / Contact Details, I have set the both the Forum URL (the bburl) and the CMS Component URL (vbcms_url) to http://www.example.com and leaving the Blog and Forum component URLs blank.
But it still redirects to /content/


Back in 4.2.0, I edited index.php and changed require('forum.php'); to require('content.php');
It didn't work anymore, so I reverted it back to forum.php, But it seems to have no effect, the root still going to /content/
