  • [CMS] Having forum show up default instead of CMS

    How do you have the default /site have the forum show upo instead of the cms. Also, in forum, I dont see the Home button that would take it to the CMS.

    Thanks

    Open up your index.php page and near the bottom it tells you how to point it to forum.php instead of content.php

    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

      Thanks, worked great. Now How do I get to the cms page from forum if there is no link to it(no Home Button like on here)?

      There is just so much to learn now after Vb3....

            do you have your plugins/products disabled in the config file?

            • #7
              Yep, both of these after php:
              define("DISABLE_HOOKS", true);
              define('DISABLE_MAIL', 1);

              BTW, Its same for default template also (i was showing the blue gold one)

                That would be why, comment out the disable hooks line. The CMS uses plugins to display extra bits in the forums.

                  ohhhh ok, thank you. Can I just disable the other plugins (until I upgrade them to VB4) in the product manager and it would be the same as in the config file?
