  • [Blog] Multiple Authors For One Blog

    Hey There!

By default in vB4, each user owns one blog, and only they can post to their blog. I would like to know if it's possible for multiple users to co-own and co-author one blog so that they can both post entries to it.

    Hi

Sorry, this is not possible in the default software.

What's the 'Join Group Blog' usergroup permission setting for, then? Found it about a month after the project was done.

You can add people to your blog and they can participate. However in vB4, they wouldn't be owners... The option to do this is kind of buried.

If you click on Settings in the top right corner, at the bottom of the settings page would be a link to Blog Settings though it is just labeled Blogs. Click this. On the next page, click Manage Groups. This is where you can add people to your blog.
