[Forum] New Posts Button

Is this a glitch or when you have a forum set NOT to be indexed for search - why are posts within it still being shown in New Posts effectively a search function.

I need to turn off 'New Posts' from searching a forum that is not meant to be indexed.

Having looked into the search file the getnew function does not appear to a variable for only picking up forums that are indexed or even closed topics ones turn up.

I have an RSS feed pulling in data from ebay to try and catch some thieves selling wares that they've recently pinched and to keep the forum tidy I setup its own forum and block on the homepage. Not thinking that some people who use mobiles especially will simply use 'New Posts', these member are then his with upto 5 pages of ebay RSS.

From a forum that's switched off all topics are closed shouldn't be indexed !!!
