[Forum] Running VB 4.1.2 and have a weird issue

Something odd happened this evening on my forum. At all times my site has 30-50 members online and it shows that at the bottom of the page normally.

Well, one minute everything is normal, the next minute I refresh and there are 3 people online and 9 guests. I checked my members list and click a few names to see if they are offline, but they still show up as online when looking at their profile.

Anyone know what could be going on?

Did the numbers start to go back up on Who's Online as they continued navigating round your site?

A ton of google bots and those types of guests started to go back up. Within a matter of 10 minutes 7 or 8 users names showed back up and there were 48 guests.

Is that normal? We have it set up to where users names appear online for 12 hours, but like I said, all of them disappeared at the same time last night.

Just thought that was strange.

So. . . Normal? Never had it happen before in the 15 months we've been online.

I was reluctant to bump this thread as I've seen others scolded for doing so with a certain ammount of hours. But I think I'm in the clear.
