[Forum] Question about adding a "private forum section"...

I am wanting to add a war room / adult section to my forum. I see how to make it password protected, but I don't want to deal with people just passing around the password once they get it. Or having to change the password if I want to revoke someone's ability to view the section.

Ideally what I want is this. Members to request access to the area, a staff member sends the the rules pertaining to having access and using this area of the forum. Once they agree to the rules, they are given access.

I currently have version 4.1.5

Just make it private to one user group and only add people you choose to that group.

With regard to previous post, set up the forum and use forum permissions in admin cp to allocate usergroup allowed to view it.
