You can if they provide working embed code and you post that in a html enabled (enabling html strongly not recommended) area, then it will work.

The one for the site I linked doesnt work, nor does Youtubes embed code. For my site its important that i can display these videos. How can i do this?

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/xJxLbVo0kUo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Like stated above, you need to enable HTML to be posted in your forums/articles/blogs. This is not enabled by default because it is a security risk. It will allow people to embed invisible flash to capture username and password cookies amongst other information.

Taking your code above and not using the insert video tool, I made this article here:
    https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/content.php/668

As you can see the video is embedded without issue. I will not enable HTML in the forums though to show it can be done there as well but it works just fine.

Where are you trying to embed the youtube video? why are you not just using the video embed tool built into the software?

Click share, get the video URL, click the flim strip icon, paste the share url, and save.

ok, I can buy that but the YOUtube embed code doesnt work either. I have to copy the url and put it in the video code provided on the board. Thats fine but you cant tell me that youtubes code is wrong too.

Well, the code they gave you, doesn't work.
We do not provide support for custom code or do service for custom coding.
Here is the code you gave us: http://digitalkore.net/videotest.html it just DOESNT WORK, there is nothing we can do to fix this third party code.

Well how do we post video? What is correct code? Posting a video hosted somewhere other than youtube and those few other sites doesnt seem like that advanced of a task to expect the VBulletin to support

If we can't get the code they provided to work, there isn't anything we can do about it.

No.. I couldn't even get the code above to work in a basic HTML page where that is the only thing between body tags. Have you tried embedding code from other sites using the code they give?
