        A few things...

        1) You cannot add an image into the Title field when creating an Article.

        2) vBulletin doesn't have a 'Title Description' field for Articles or Threads.

        3) You can insert an image into an Article. vBulletin will use the first inserted image as the "Preview Image" for the article.

        4) Articles and Threads are similar but different content types and are handled by different pieces of code. However, they do not behave the same, do not have the same functionality and are not displayed the same.

What the original poster wants requires custom coding to actually determine if something is restricted before showing the article preview.

It shouldn't be too bad to do. First, create a new section with the appropriate permissions. Then you should be able to do something like <vb:if $parentnode == X>Custom Image</vb:if> in the article preview template.
I will try that out. Thank you once again!
