  • [Forum] sidebar displaying at the bottom below forums

    We are having a problem that the sidebar is displaying on the bottom of the forums instead of on the side. This only is happening on IE and works fine on chrome and firefox. Sadly my stats show a significant number of IE users so it would be great if this could be resolved.

    Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
    Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php
    PHP Code:
    define('DISABLE_HOOKS'true);
    If it still happens, then create a new style with no parent:
    • Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
    • Parent Style: No Parent Style
    • Title: Default vBulletin
    • Allow User Selection: Yes
    • Save

    Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

    Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

        Do you have advertises on your page? If yes, disable them and try again. Did you globaly disable all hooks like Lynne advised?
