    1. I just noticed that if a user subscribed to a thread or even several threads, they get emails once a week with all the threads content in it. Is it possible to send them just the update notice of the subscribed thread with a link and the thread title? That would be far enough.

    2. Is it possible to group the subscribed threads, so that they get 1 email once a week with all the updates they have subscribed to?

    Thank you

    1. They need to change their own subscription settings to use one of the other methods:

    - Through Control Panel Only
    - Instantly, using email
    - Daily, using email

    2. Sorry, there is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at

You should be able to remove the body of posts from the email by editing the proper phrase.

Go to Admin CP -> Languages & Phrases -> Phrase Manager

Choose Email Body phrases from the drop down menu.

The various phrases that control the emails send from subscriptions are the digsest* phrases.

I believe the phrase you may want to change is: digestpostbit

Open that phrase, provide an English translation (or any other language) and remove the line about the message body from the phrase, so the post content won't be sent.

Providing a translation always overrides the original phrase.
