It was actually very simple. I just changed forum.php to reviews.php in index.php file. This way reviews.php acts like main page.

We do not support that, you may be able to get help from VBSEO.

By changing the default tab in navigation manager I have been able to have reviews.php as main page, but if I type http://www.mydomain.com in the adress field in the browser, it redirects to http://www.mydomain.com/reviews.php.

I use VBSEO and there is an option in this software (CMS Home) to re-write CMS to wherever I want. I re-directed CMS to http://www.mydomain.com so if I typed http://www.mydomain.com in the adress field, it would show http://www.mydomain.com and not http://www.mydomain.com/content.php.

I guess I should ask over at VBSEO.com on how to do the same with reviews.php, because I want this to be my main page.

Is reviews.php an existing php page or do you want reviews.php to act as content.php?

If you already have a reviews.php page working then just go to the Admin CP -> Settings -> Navigation Manager... Either add a tab for reviews.php, of if there is already tab, just set it as default. In either case you need to set it to be the default tab.

If you want reviews.php to act like content.php, make a copy of content.php called reviews.php. Then go to the Navigation Manager in Admin CP and edit the Articles tab, change the filename to reviews.php (keep the other code after it), and set that tab to be default if it isn't already.

You could simply rename reviews.php to index.php of the cms directory.

    You cant rename content.php.

You could also create a redirect in a .htaccess file & force traffic to divert to reviews.php

How to change main page with VB 4.2?

I have vb 4.2, and I would like "reviews.php" to replace "content.php" as main page on my installation. How can I do this?

If I type http://www.xxxx.com now the page that opens is content.php, but I want it to be reviews.php.

Which files or settings can I change to make this happen?

I appreciate any help I can get.
