I actually had to type in http://rpgchat.com/ to get it to finally function right. for some reason it wants that forward slash on the end.

Another issue I've run into since upgrading is that my email verifications won't send. It fact, no emails will send which is fairly odd. I tested this by trying to force a password recovery to one of my accounts and it never went through to the email (neither spam or regular) and I ran a diagnostic on it and got this:

    SMTP: localhost
    sendmail_from: None
    sendmail_path: /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i

    Please enter in only: www.rpgchat.com

Do not use a / at the end. Now after saving that as the sites URL in "Site Name / URL / Contact Details" does the link resolve to simply www.rpgchat.com ?

started a topic URL Redirect error

    URL Redirect error

Alright, so I upgraded from 4.0.1 to 4.2.0

At first I had an issue with getting a 'redirect error (rpgchat.com/)

I looked that issue up and fixed it by putting "rpgchat.com/" in the options under Site Name / Url / contact section

now, I'm getting this issue. If you go to this site:

    www.rpgchat.com

it shows up as such in the URL bar:

    http://www.rpgchat.com/rpgchat.com/activity.php

not sure how to fix this.
