Sending my login details to you now Lynne -

Happy I open a support ticket after that?

[I know you're busy - I really appreciate your assistance...]

And, indeed, greetings to the entire vBteam...

    ----

    Seems you don't accept PMs.....

Other ways to send it to you privately?

I would suggest putting in a support ticket. We will need to use a default style in the CMS and we may need to also disable all of your modifications. You can address it to me if you'd like since I have been following this thread (although that isn't necessary as all the others guys are great too!).

Lynne - tried a few other things - including contacting CompleteVb - to resolve the problem, but to no avail.

    I am not sure whether it's a vb-bug or whether I've goofed...

    I'll wait for your response.

    Thanks Lynne!

Just tried that Lynne - not working.

Like previously, nothing is saved or applied.

Would you have a few minutes to take a look at what's happening.

I can PM you login details with admin rights.

    Would appreciate that...

So if you hit Save, the page just stays the same and nothing changes?

Create a new style with no parent:
    • Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
    • Parent Style: No Parent Style
    • Title: Default vBulletin
    • Allow User Selection: Yes
    • Save

Now assign this style to the section (don't change the layout, only the style) and Save - does it save the new style?

  • Section Page Not Saving - New Layout Selection from Default

    Hi all -

I am trying to change the layout of some of my CMS section [vb 4.1.4 PL1] and for some reason this doesn't seem to work.

The section's layout is currently set to 'Default' - I'd like to change that to another self-made one.

The Layout drop down 'behind' the section lists the layout I'd like to select, and does maintain that selection when leaving the drop-down. But when attempting to save or apply the page to activate the new layout, nothing happens.

    See attachment.

Could anyone help me out with this one please?

    Thanks...
