  • [Forum] Making an OLD Board Invisible from General Members?

Any suggestions here would be a big help.

I'm taking over the vB Admin job for one of my members that had to leave. I've been a Admin also for some time so I know my way around the ADMIN PC.

We have a number of OLD Boards not used at this time... but I DO NOT want to delete them... I need them for history. I don't want to MOVE them... I just want to make a Board invisible to our General Membership so they don't see it... but our Admins can still see it and access it when needed.

I think there is a way to make a Board invisible... I just can't find that option.

    Can anyone help me please.

    Thanks!

Login to your admin control panel>Forums & Moderators>Forum Permissions>Find the board you are looking for and click edit to set permissions for the registered, users awaiting confirmation, and unregistered usergroups (and any other usergroups with members you don't want seeing the subforums) for each of the subforums in question.
