  • [Forum] Write cron job to clear Session Table in database

    Hi guys

For the past 5 weeks I've been getting constant "session table is full" error messages from my forum database & after much googling it seems as though the cron job isn't functioning/isn't there to do this. To clear the error I've been logging into the forum database via phpmyadmin to empy the session table manually

So could someone please advise me [in plain english] the exact steps to writing & setting up a cron job to do this as I'm a complete novice at this sort of thing

    TIA

Are the Scheduled Tasks running on your site? Have you disabled any? The session table is cleared every hour by a scheduled task if you haven't disabled it, changed it's frequency, or done something to stop the tasks from running.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.
