  • [CMS] How to change or specify author in CMS article?

I would like to move some of my member articles over to the CMS that comes with the VBsuite. I plan to 301 redirect the old urls.

Anyway, I have been unable to find a way to specify the author (other than myself). I am pretty sure there is a setting for this, but I have yet to find it.

Can someone direct me on how to publish an article as the original author in the CMS? I can see how to set the date back to the original date, but cannot seem to find where to edit the author. Thanks!

Not available as an option yet, although it is in Jira as a request.

Oh! Thanks so much. No wonder I could not find it. Thanks for your help.

I usually choose not to display title and author and then create a title and "by" line at the top of the article. Looks much better on the front page.

Can someone point me to the JIRA request for this? I found one but it was closed saying it was a "duplicate of an older issue" but it didn't point to the older issue and I can't find it. I really need the ability to edit the author because people submit content in many ways and I want to be able to list them as the author when I have to write the article for them.

widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
