    I do not know what these errors are but they are not happening on the site itself. Just errors via email. Are they anything I can resolve easily? Thanks

    To troubleshoot this, first reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file. Then run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics to make sure you have all the original files for your version and that none show 'File does not contain expected contents':

    Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions

    [Note: In some cases you may also need to remove any of the listed .xml files in the includes/xml directory.]

    Next, disable all plugins.

    Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

    define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

    Then if you still have this problem, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it.

    Do you have the same problem?

      Hi
      If I do this, will it remove all the addons or is this just to overwrite the original files?

      This isnt an error coming up on the page, just getting it via email but don't know what it is. Thanks for the reply.

        It will overwrite the original files.

          Does anyone have an idea what the errors mean? I installed some addons last night so suspect that is what it is.

            Disable the modifications you added. Then turn each on one by one until you get the issue - this will tell you which is causing it.

              Problem is. I have not had a database error email for about 12 hours now so have no idea at all what caused it. Just going to replace the files as above though and see what happens...

                Hi33I did step 1 and there are no issues with suspect files.

                With the plugins thing, so you are saying it is just a case of guessing which one brings the error? If I disable them all and get no errors via email for a day or so, shall I just start enabling 1 by 1?
