    You should not be modifying the templates via the database. You should be using the Style Manager > Edit Templates area in the admincp.

    Also, you cannot put php in templates.

    You need to ask over at www.vbulletin.org for help with custom code.

    I undo changes.
    Actually I edited postbit_legacy row at "template" table by inserting some customized code.
    In that I have connected to remote database using PHP query.
    When I removed that connect database string it works fine.

    Code:
    $dbh=mysql_connect("remote_ip:port", "username", "password") or die
    ('I cannot connect to the database because: ' . mysql_error());
    It is beyond my knowledge why this code not works at "postbit_legacy" template, while it do work fine at "SHOWTHREAD" template?

    If you run a repair against your database as a whole to be on the safe side...

    After I edited a "template" table for postbit_legacy, I got following error

    Code:
    Incorrect key file for table '/tmp/#sql_791b_0.MYI'; try to repair it
    How to rectify this error? which table needed to be repaired?
