    This may be due to mod_security. If so, please see this thread for the possible fix:

    http://www.vbulletin.com/go/modsecurity

    Note: The .htaccess file does not work all the time, particularly if mod_security2 is installed. If that's the case then your host will need to identify which rules are causing this and make the appropriate adjustment.
    Sir Steve, please let me know what to do as I did't find .htaccess file in my forum. kindly tell me the path where I may be able to check mod_security and file-permissions. I will like you to please guide me to solve the problem myself instead of reproaching the host.

    Did you follow all those instructions? Have you checked the file permissions?

    If so, then the next step is to contact your host.

    Sounds like a problem not related to vBulletin but more a problem with maybe your htaccess. I suggest checking it and making sure it's not denying your IP Address or DNS.
