  • [Forum] Displaying usernames in the postbit?

    I'm trying to add a button inside postbit and display the username inside of it.

    Code:
    Rate {vb:raw user.username}
    Is that the wrong way to post the username of the threadstarter? I've also tried
    Code:
    Rate <span class="postUsername">{vb:raw user.username}</span>
    and no luck.

    What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

    You are editing the postbit template and you want the username of the thread *starter*? I don't think that variable is available to you in the postbit template. You would need to write a plugin to get the name and then preregister the variable for use in the postbit template. This is really something you should be asking for help with over on vbulletin.org, the modification site.

    Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.
