  • [Forum] Mobile Style Impossible To Install

HOW TO INSTALL AND CONFIGURE THE NEW MOBILE STYLE:

    1) Go to your [AdminCP]

    2) Go to [STYLES & TEMPLATES]

    3) Click [DOWNLOAD / UPLOAD STYLES]

    4) In IMPORT STYLE XML, change XML IMPORT FROM SERVER path and IMPORT.
    PHP Code:
    ./install/vbulletin-mobile-style.xml

    5) Go to vBulletin [SETTINGS]

    6) Edit [STYLE & LANGUAGE] settings

    7) Adjust settings for the new MOBILE STYLE options, including DETECTION settings.
The directions say to import from the path " ./install/vbulletin-mobile-style.xml" But I DELETED that path after I upgrades the forum. The install directory is gone. I uploaded the install directory again so that I could import the style, but now I get a message saying that I cannot access the Admin control panel until I delete the install directory. So ONCE AGAIN I deleted the install directory, but when when I got back to import the style, I get an error saying the path doesn't exist.

You only need to delete the ./install/install.php file from the install directory.

Ok. I will try it without that file.

if you still have the file in your hard disk, it may be possible to import instead of the install folder in the server

Well I managed to get to step 7 and there is where it comes unstuck for me. I just cannot seem to see the setting they mention here

            7) Adjust settings for the new MOBILE STYLE options, including DETECTION settings.

Looks like I also have it sorted but the mobile style still does not work on the Blackberry os 5 versions
